L’éducation inclusive des élèves malvoyants a commencé dans les pays développés au cours des dernières décennies. L’objectif de cette étude était de trouver des moyens de réduire les déficits induits par la société dans l’interaction des élèves malvoyants dans les écoles secondaires. Cette étude était qualitative et a adopté un modèle d’étude de cas. Un échantillon de 34 participants, composé d’administrateurs, d’enseignants et d’élèves malvoyants, a été constitué à dessein dans des établissements secondaires inclusifs. Des entretiens semi-structurés, un questionnaire ouvert et une analyse de documents ont été utilisés pour générer des données. Il est apparu que les élèves malvoyants de l’enseignement secondaire inclusif sont stigmatisés et totalement exclus des activités sociales compétitives. Il a été recommandé que le ministère de l’enseignement primaire et secondaire (MOPSE) dote les administrateurs, les enseignants et les étudiants voyants de connaissances sur les compétences sociales qui peuvent les aider à répondre aux besoins socio-émotionnels et aux intérêts des étudiants ayant une déficience visuelle dans l’enseignement secondaire inclusif.
