Servant leadership appears to be a potentially suitable leadership approach for NPOs.Servant leadership describes leadership behavior that is oriented towards the needs and interests of employees. Managers are characterized by empathy and appreciation. The focus is placed on the organization alongside the employees and managers try to empower their employees to organize themselves and develop.
