Este livro mencionou o objetivo da investigação, que consistia em caraterizar a variabilidade fenotípica e molecular dos genótipos de teca. Este é o estudo do meu trabalho de investigação de mestrado durante o ano de 2016-2018 na Universidade Agrícola de Anand. Um livro incluía a investigação de 32 genótipos de teca selecionados em diferentes locais no centro de Gujarat, na Índia. Dos 32 genótipos, 18 eram genótipos de pomares de sementes e 14 genótipos eram genótipos de crescimento natural. A investigação foi realizada no 'Laboratório de Biotecnologia Vegetal, Departamento de Biotecnologia Agrícola, Universidade Agrícola de Anand, Anand, durante 2017-2018'. O estudo contém o resultado dos sistemas de marcadores selecionados , nomeadamente SSR e SRAP, que podem ser utilizados de forma eficiente para caraterizar os genótipos de teca. Os resultados do presente estudo poderiam fornecer diretrizes válidas para a recolha e caraterização dos recursos genéticos da teca para o futuro programa de melhoramento de árvores para a disponibilidade de madeira de qualidade.
