This book is a part of our everyday life, the way people use social media in today’s society to hide their true selves with filters disguising what is happening in their lives. Some use it to promote awareness of certain ideals. Some give a positive image of self-confidence and offer others the strength to be brave and carry on. Social media has both positive and negative traits. It can be a hunting ground for those wanting to inflict pain on others; trying to rectify this is hard, but if some give positive outlooks and advice, trying to make others brave and show their true selves, making it a better world to live in and show the next generation that hate will not be tolerated. Different lenses show us different insights, like history, literature, and even photo and poetry lenses. All these combined give a person insight into the past and present and maybe give them ideas to make a better future for us all.Self-empowerment is a tool everyone should learn as it makes us a better person and gives us the confidence to be ourselves no matter what. There is so much hate in the world we strive to find love and kindness. Humanity today is lost; from the beginning, God gave humans command over the world, including nature and animals, but God also gave humans the responsibility of maintaining the earth. Humans started taking advantage of the land, taking more than they needed to obtain what they most desired. Did the fall from the Garden of Eden make humans fall away from nature?Looking at different lenses, we can see how kindness can prevail if we learn from the past, implement it into the present, and make a better future for the next generation. From a self-point of view, I have compiled different lenses to show how things have changed. Have they gotten better over time or exploded into chaos that we can’t escape? That is up to the reader to decide and see how things can be changed. It will not happen overnight, but a natural change will come inside for each person that changes.Humanity has changed from the past, and with technology today, maybe not for the better. One could learn something from it by stepping back and looking through this lens. It might give some confidence to stand tall and proud and give others ideas to think of today’s society and how one can make a better future for the next generation that is growing up.
