Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2010 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Pädagogische Soziologie, Note: 1,0, Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster (Soziologie), Veranstaltung: Seminar: Miteinander leben, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Das Schulgesetz des Bundeslandes Nordrhein-Westfalen hat im Jahr 2006 eine bedeutende Veränderung erfahren, da der erste Paragraph um den Aspekt der individuellen Förderung erweitert wurde. So lautet dieser nun: §1 Recht auf Bildung, Erziehung und individuelle Förderung (1) Jeder junge Mensch hat ohne Rücksicht auf seine wirtschaftliche Lage und Herkunft und sein Geschlecht ein Recht auf schulische Bildung, Erziehung und individuelle Förderung. Dieses Recht wird nach Maßgabe dieses Gesetzes gewährleistet. Durch die Verankerung im Schulgesetz wird die individuelle Förderung offiziell zu einem Gesetz erhoben, welches alle Schülerinnen und Schüler gleichermaßen in Anspruch nehmen können. Ingrid Kunze geht an dieser Stelle noch einen Schritt weiter und schreibt, dass diese somit einklagbar wird. Doch nicht die einzelne Lehrkraft trägt die Verantwortung für die gezielte Förderung, sondern '[g]emeint ist individuelle Förderung in der und durch die Schule'. Das wird auch daran deutlich, dass das Schulministerium Nordrhein-Westfalen das 'Gütesiegel Individuelle Förderung' an Schulen verleiht, welche sich in diesem Bereich besonders hervorgetan haben. Das Schulministerium definiert die individuelle Förderung folgendermaßen: 'Individuelle Förderung rückt als Leitidee des Schulgesetzes in das Zentrum schulischer Arbeit. Ziel ist es, ein Schulwesen zu schaffen, in dem jedes Kind und jeder Jugendliche unabhängig von seiner Herkunft Chancen und Begabungen optimal nutzen und entfalten kann. Individuelle Förderung wendet sich an alle Schülerinnen und Schüler.' Der Fokus wird folglich auf die Gesamtheit der Schülerinnen und Schüler gelegt.
