Technologietransfers im internationalen Schiffsbau Seite 16 Resümee Seite 21 Literaturverzeichnis Seite 22 Einleitung Im ersten Teil der Arbeit werde ich auf die historische Entwicklung von Seefahrt und Schiffsbau bis zum Beginn des 12. Jh.s eingehen, wobei ich hierbei den Schwerpunkt auf gesegelte Schiffe und Boote legen werde. Die Auswahl der näher beschriebenen Typen erfolgte nach den Kriterien der Dominanz und Innovation der jeweiligen Konstruktion. Ich versuche dabei ein möglichst breites Spektrum an Grundlagen in der internationalen Schifffahrtstechnologie darzubieten. Dies soll dem Leser einen Überblick geben über die verschieden Lösungen, sich mit Hilfe des Windes über das Wasser zu bewegen. Im zweiten Teil der Arbeit werde ich mich an den Versuch heranwagen, möglichst weit reichende Thesen über fast Globus umspannende Technologietransfers plausibel darzulegen oder gegebenenfalls Lücken aufdecken, bzw. auf fehlende Untersuchungen hinzuweisen. In meiner gesamten Arbeit ließ es sich nicht vermeiden, auch auf technische Details näher einzugehen, da die wichtigsten Quellen hierzu nicht schriftlicher sondern gegenständlicher und bildlicher Art sind. Zudem werden Aspekte des Technologietransfers und der Weiterentwicklung nur dann logisch erklärbar, wenn die Vor- und Nachteile der jeweiligen technischen Option oder Innovation bekannt sind. Ich werde aber versuchen, Details und Begriffe auch für den Nicht-Segler oder -Schifffahrtshistoriker
