Co więcej, uczniowie opracowywali lepsze linie fabularne i postacie, gdy korzystali z bodźców obrazkowych. W związku z tym niniejsza książka ilustruje wykorzystanie dwóch filmów animowanych, aby pomóc uczniom poprawić rozwój postaci w pisaniu opowiadań. Badania wykazały, że wykorzystanie filmów animowanych wyolbrzymiało postacie, konkretyzowało historie, stymulowało myślenie uczniów i pomagało im zachować szczegóły, które wydawały się bardziej zapadające w pamięć w filmie niż tylko w tekście.
