Two lads in their early teens who conveniently forget the law when riding a motorbike, and illicit drinking away from home. Both get apprenticeships, Rhys. the more cautious of the two boys, in Carpentry/joinery and Giddy, a more daring lad, in plastering. They argue, meet up with girls, have a brush with death that causes trauma for both of them. Through all their adventures they remain good friends.
