Nella società contemporanea l’esperienza scolastica è la forma privilegiata di sviluppo, socializzazione e apprendimento, anche professionale. Tradizionalmente, e in generale, per i futuri professionisti questo periodo della vita è vissuto come una tappa per il loro inserimento in una determinata posizione sociale, derivata dal loro ruolo nella (ri)produzione della vita sociale. Come insegnanti, quando avanziamo nella professionalizzazione docente, sperimentiamo ricordi e significati notevolmente diversi per questa fase vitale. Siamo soliti ricordare il nostro passato scolastico quando ci confrontiamo con la pratica professionale - in particolare scolastica - durante l’esperienza di una routine impegnativa, logorante e, a volte, malsana. Quando assumiamo una classe o un’aula nell’istruzione di base, resistiamo personalmente a innumerevoli e insondabili tensioni sociali - dinamiche che la scuola generalmente si mostra disinteressata o impreparata ad affrontare dal punto di vista istituzionale. In questo lavoro presentiamo i risultati di una ricerca condotta con insegnanti della scuola primaria che lavorano nella rete pubblica, in un comune di medie dimensioni nello stato di Minas Gerais.
