Questo studio è stato condotto in cinque distretti con la più alta popolazione di acquacoltori interni nella parte sud-occidentale dell’India. Sono stati raccolti dati primari da 225 acquacoltori che hanno usufruito del supporto dell’Agenzia per la Gestione delle Tecnologie Agricole (ATMA) e da 165 funzionari del Dipartimento della Pesca che hanno fornito il supporto ATMA agli agricoltori. Vengono proposti suggerimenti politici per migliorare l’assistenza agli agricoltori che, a sua volta, contribuirà allo sviluppo dell’acquacoltura.
