Die im folgenden aufgeführte Radarliteratur umfasst die Zeit vom Som­ mer 1953 bis zum Herbst (Nov.) 1958. Die Zusammenstellung ist entstan­ den aus dem Bedürfnis, für alle Probleme, die mit Radar zusammenhängen, schnell die einschlägigen Verfasser, Titel der Arbeiten und jeweils ein Kurzreferat zur Hand zu haben. 1 Die Titelsammlung und die Zusammenstellung der Kurzreferate ) ist ab­ sichtlich in zwei von einander getrennten, aber über die Stoffgliederung miteinander zusammenhängenden Teilen untergebracht. Denn es ist erfah­ rungsgemäß eine Sammlung von Titeln leichter zu übersehen, wenn keine Abhandlungen dazwischen vorkommen. Außerdem interessiert zunächst der Titel einer Arbeit; die Information über den Inhalt ist zwar mitunter zum Verständnis nötig, wird aber nicht immer gebraucht. Herangezogen wurden für die Sammlung als wichtigste Quellen: a) Electrical Engineerings Abstracts, Science Abstracts Section B.; Published by the Institution of Electrical Engineers Savoy Place London. Es wurden die Bände 57 (1954), 58 (1955), 59 (1956), 60 (1957) und die Hefte des laufenden Jahrg. 1958 benutzt. b) Die interne Referaten- und Titelsammlung des Funkortungsausschusses Düsseldorf. Dieselbe stand vom Zeitpunkt Jahrg. 1956 an zur Verfügung. c) Die VDE-Schnellberichte. Sie werden in unregelmäßiger Folge vom VDE-Verlag Berlin-Charlottenburg herausgegeben und enthalten eine Sammlung von Titeln aus mehr als 300 Fachzeitschriften. Die Jahrg. 1956, 1957 und die Lieferung des laufenden Jahres 1958 standen zur Verfügung. d) Die BFS-Hinweise. Dieselben wurden von der Bundesanstalt für Flug­ sicherung in Frankfurt/Main in wöchentlicher Folge herausgegeben. B&nützt wurde die Lieferung des laufenden Jahres 1958.
