Ce type de système combine les exigences de différentes normes compatibles entre elles afin que l’organisme gagne en efficacité. Ce système combine les exigences de différentes normes et spécifications compatibles entre elles (ISO 9001 pour la Qualité, OHSAS 18001 pour la Sécurité et la Santé au Travail, ISO 14001 pour l’Environnement) afin que l’organisme gagne en efficacité. Les systèmes de management intégrés permettent une vision globale de l’entreprise grâce à la prise de conscience de l’ensemble des processus et la prise en compte des interactions entre eux. L’intégration va consister à rassembler les trois organisations Q + S + E en une seule QSE. Un système de management intégré va assembler 3 systèmes totalement compatibles pour un fonctionnement plus efficace. Ce concept est une réponse naturelle aux besoins des entreprises qui ressentent la nécessité de prendre en compte dans leur mode de management la triple dimension qualité - sécurité - environnement et recherchent une approche globale.
