La camarinha (Corema album (L.) D.Don 1830) è un arbusto dioico endemico dei sistemi dunali della costa atlantica della penisola iberica, appartenente alla famiglia delle Ericacee. Questo arbusto produce una drupa bianca che ha un sapore agrumato e contiene un’elevata quantità di antiossidanti. Questo lavoro ha analizzato due aree, la propagazione e la fenologia, perché sono settori che non solo si uniscono, ma forniscono anche informazioni cruciali per prendere decisioni in termini di produzione, oltre a contribuire ad analizzare i prossimi passi da compiere nell’area della ricerca. Sono state effettuate prove di propagazione vegetativa e caratterizzazione fenologica, proponendo una scala BBCH per questa specie. Tra le altre conclusioni, è emerso che l’endemica Corema album (mai sfruttata commercialmente) è una specie di piccoli frutti molto promettente, date le sue caratteristiche uniche di colore, sapore e benefici per la salute umana.
