Dieses Buch liefert wichtige Informationen zur Verbreitung, Population und Pollenbiologie von Futterpflanzen der tropischen Tasar-Seidenraupe Antheraea Mylitta-D in Karnataka. Diese Beobachtungen deuten auf ihre Unterscheidbarkeit und heterogene Zusammensetzung sowie auf den Einfluss des genetischen Flusses auf die Evolution dieser Pflanzenarten hin. Außerdem könnten die ökologischen Bedingungen bei ihrer Diversifizierung eine Rolle gespielt haben. Außerdem besteht die Hoffnung, dass die vorliegenden Untersuchungen zur Pollenbiologie der Nahrungspflanzen des tropischen Tasar-Seidenspinners Antheraea mylitta D. dazu beitragen werden, das Zuchtsystem, die Pollen-Stempel-Interaktion, den Genfluss und die Heterozygotie in Zukunft zu untersuchen.
