Dieses Buch ist konzipiert als Lehr-und Arbeitsbuch fUr den politischen Unterricht an beruf­ lichen Schulen. Es bietet sich durch seinen Ansatz auch fiir die Erwachsenenbildung an. Jedem Kapitel sind Lernziele vorangestellt, so daB ein lemzielorientiertes Vorgehen ermoglicht wird. 1m Lebrbucb-Teil erfolgt die DarIegung der Information im Gesamtzusammenhang. Dieser TeiI eignet sich besonders aIs Lern-Grundlage fUr Priifungen und Klassenarbeiten. Der Arbeitsbucb-Teil (Arbeitsvorscbliige u. Materialien) bietet die Moglichkeit, den Schiller an­ hand geeigneter Materialien die Lernziele selbstandig erarbeiten zu lassen. Die entsprechenden Arbeitsvorschliige sind beigefiigt, jedoch nur als Orientierungshilfe gedacht. Das Buch ist somit direkt im Unterricht als Arbeitsbuch einsetzbar. Bei der Auswahl der Materialien wurde vor aHem auch darauf geachtet durch kontroverse Texte unterschiedliche Standpunkte zu zeigen, Betroffenheit herzustellen und dadurch lebendige und fundierte Diskussionen zu ermoglichen. Auch zur Einstiegsmotivation geeignete Materialien sind beriicksichtigt. Die Autoren haben sich bemiiht, durch Strukturbilder, Graphiken, Karikaturen und Problem­ anrisse dem Leser den Einstieg in die jeweiligen Themen zu erIeichtern. Viele Beispiele tragen zur Veranschaulichung bei. Die konsequente Trennung in Lehrbuch- und Arbeitsbuch-Teil bietet dem Lehrer erhebliche Vorteile bei der Unterrichtsplanung und Unterrichtsgestaltung. Die StoffdarIegung im Lehr­ buch-Teil kann vielfaltig mit den Materialien kombiniert werden. Fiir Anregungen und Kritik sind die Autoren jederzeit dankbar. St.-R.
