Der Umweltaspekt ist heute eine große Herausforderung in der Welt des Bauens. Es wird notwendig, nicht erneuerbare Ressourcen zu schonen und umweltfreundliche Bauwerke zu errichten. Die Verwendung von landwirtschaftlichen Abfällen, hier Palmnußschalen, als Zuschlagstoff in Beton ist somit eine gute Alternative. In dieser Arbeit, die sich mit den physikalisch-mechanischen Eigenschaften des Verbundstoffs befasst, geht es vor allem um seine Haltbarkeit, den Einfluss der Substitution konventioneller Zuschlagstoffe und den Einfluss der Qualität des Zementleims. Zur Durchführung dieser Studie wurden verschiedene Formulierungen und Versuche mit Beton durchgeführt, darunter die Messung von Konsistenz, Dichte, Porosität, Druckfestigkeit usw. Die Ergebnisse dieser Versuche sind in der vorliegenden Arbeit zusammengefasst.
