Istnieje wiele badań dotyczących mechanizmów przyswajania języka francuskiego oraz metod jego nauczania. W kontekście globalizacji i dominacji formy pisemnej w naszych społeczeństwach opanowanie tej umiejętności stało się koniecznością. Niezwykle ważne jest zatem przygotowanie studentów do pisania. Wybór tego obszaru badań nie jest przypadkowy. Wynika on z naszego zaangażowania jako nauczycieli, którzy mają do czynienia z tekstami pisemnymi naszych studentów. Jak zaradzić „niezręcznościom' w ich pismach i pomóc im poprawić ich wypowiedzi pisemne? Nasz wkład wpisuje się zatem w ramy analizy prac pisemnych studentów pierwszego semestru studiów licencjackich na kierunku DLLF na Uniwersytecie Ibn Tofail. Takie podejście pozwoli nam zidentyfikować „deficyt językowy' oraz niedoskonałości dotychczasowych metodologii nauczania języka francuskiego jako języka obcego.
