Rick Austin is a teacher, reserve officer and freelance journalist. Since 9/11 he has observed Americans treating Islam as a religion although it has become clear to him that it is much more. Because of this he knows he needs to dig deeper and he needs to do so quickly. Sam Flynn has the answers and along with his Lebanese American friends, he’s willing to teach Rick all he needs to know. In the meantime, Abe Schahab’s brother, Ahmed, has been living in Germany secretly helping U.S. agencies keep tabs on known and suspected terrorists. A Lebanese Jihadist’s attempt to recruit him as a terrorist endangers his life. He joins his brother in the U.S. where his courage and training are immediately put to use. As the story unfolds, everyone finds themselves in Tampa where lessons are learned, old acquaintances are reestablished, new friendships take hold, romance is in the air and Jihadists plot terror.
