Dazu werden die Meinungen einer Stichprobe von Kunden des Unternehmens untersucht und die Faktoren zu ermitteln, die das Phänomen der Kundenzufriedenheit erklären. Außerdem werden die wichtigsten Beiträge globaler Pioniere der TQM-Kultur und -Philosophie untersucht und ein Paradigma vorgestellt, das die Philosophien von Deming und Juran vereint (vorgeschlagenes Paradigma und Erfolgsfaktoren). Damit wird die Möglichkeit aufgezeigt, die Stärken beider Philosophien zu nutzen, um ein ganzheitliches Qualitätsmanagement zu erreichen.
