Este trabalho analisa parte do discurso social sobre o tema da migração. O foco é a identificação e a extensão da deliberação, por um lado, e o discurso de ódionos comentários dos utilizadores no YouTube. Especificamente, envolve uma análise de conteúdo quantitativa dos comentários dos utilizadores em vídeos de dois 'meios de comunicação social tradicionais' (ZDF heute Nachrichten, BILD) e um 'meio de comunicação social alternativo' (Compact TV). As questões centrais da investigação são:Q1: Que caraterísticas da deliberação ocorrem com mais frequência nos comentários dos utilizadores aos vídeos dos dois 'media tradicionais' e do 'meio alternativo', respetivamente?Q2: Que caraterísticas do discurso de ódio ocorrem com maior frequência nos comentários dos utilizadores aos vídeos dos dois 'media tradicionais' e do 'meio alternativo'? Foi analisado um total de 540 comentários de utilizadores em 18 vídeos no YouTube. Os resultados mostram que as caraterísticas da deliberação são encontradas com mais frequência nos comentários dos utilizadores nos vídeos dos 'meios de comunicação social tradicionais', enquanto as caraterísticas do discurso de ódio são mais comuns nos comentários dos utilizadores nos vídeos dos 'meios de comunicação social alternativos'.
