Among the species with potential for forestry production in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Eucalyptus dunnii Maiden stands out, both for its ecophysiological plasticity and its tolerance to cold, being especially suited to the pulp and paper industry, sawmills and charcoal production. In the state, forest plantations are generally established in areas with low productive potential for agricultural crops and pastures, which have become unproductive as a result of inadequate management or are located on sloping terrain. The successful expansion and establishment of forestry in these locations, which have undergone a process of land use conversion, reflects the application of appropriate treatments and the choice of species, taking into account physiological, adaptive and productive aspects specific to each site and climatic conditions. This book presents the main aspects involved in the nutrition of the species Eucalyptus dunnii, with an emphasis on the nutritional status, as well as the relationships between nutrients in the soil and the plant.
