Nurses work to promote health, prevent disease and help patients cope with illness. They are advocates and health educators for patients, families, and communities. This is why nursing considered as a profession.Patient guidance has been an essential component of Registered Nurses’ professional role. In today’s healthcare delivery system, patient guidance and leading are becoming increasingly important. The public demands more information and control over their health care. Moreover, illness and limited knowledge about medicine, nursing, and the healthcare system mean that patients are often vulnerable and powerless.
