Niniejszy artykuł opisuje wyniki projektu badawczego magisterskiego na temat „Technologie informacyjne i komunikacyjne w państwowych szkołach publicznych w stanie Goiás - co mówią nauczyciele matematyki w szkołach średnich', przeprowadzonego w Centrum Uniwersyteckim w Anápolis - UniEVANGÉLICA (2014). Celem było przeanalizowanie włączenia lub nie włączenia technologii informacyjno-komunikacyjnych do procesu nauczania i uczenia się matematyki w sieci szkół publicznych w stanie Goiás. W tym celu wybrano 5 (pięć) szkół reprezentujących pięć mezoregionów stanu. Metodologicznie, praca charakteryzuje się badaniem eksploracyjnym o charakterze jakościowym i ilościowym, z danymi zebranymi za pomocą kwestionariusza i wywiadów. Wyniki ujawniają niepokojący obraz w odniesieniu do procesu nauczania i uczenia się matematyki oraz nowego modelu edukacyjnego, poprzez włączenie technologii informacyjno-komunikacyjnych do edukacji, takich jak brak fizycznej struktury w szkołach, ustawiczne szkolenie nauczycieli w zakresie korzystania z technologii informacyjno-komunikacyjnych oraz dobrze zaplanowana publiczna polityka edukacyjna, która ostatecznie rysuje mapę nieuwzględnienia technologii informacyjno-komunikacyjnych w działaniach pedagogicznych nauczycieli.
