This title was first published in 1973 by Brigham Young University Press and is a classic of the bryologic literature.Flowers (1900 - 1968) was a researcher, a writer and a professor of botany at the University of Utah. He specialized in bryology and phycology and was President of the American Bryological Society.Mosses: Utah and the West made a substantial and original contribution to our knowledge of the mosses of the western United States.
