Alexandria ist die zweitgrößte und zweitbevölkerungsreichste Stadt Ägyptens. Die Vielfalt der Landnutzung sowie die zunehmenden Verkehrsprobleme verursachen aufgrund der Wechselwirkungen zwischen Verkehr und Landnutzung (LUTI) zahlreiche Konflikte. Diese Probleme wurden zu einer Belastung für die Entscheidungsträger, da Verkehr und Landnutzung die wichtigsten Aspekte der Stadtplanung sind, zumal es nur wenige Studien zu diesem Thema gibt. In Bezug auf das oben genannte Thema sind Empfehlungen zur Lösung des Problems dieser LUTI erforderlich. Dieses Thema ist aufgrund des derzeitigen Mangels an Studien sowie eines bescheidenen Versuchs des Forschers, in diesem Bereich zu helfen, von großer Bedeutung. Diese Studie befasst sich mit der Wechselwirkung zwischen Landnutzung und Verkehr und diskutiert einige Modelle zu diesem Thema. Auf der Ebene der Studie werden eine einfache historische Analyse und eine detaillierte Analyse zum Thema LUTI vorgestellt, sodass die Studie in zwei Teile gegliedert ist: einen ersten theoretischen Teil und einen zweiten Teil zur Umsetzung.
