Midnight Delivery to the Royal Tower

In the rain-soaked industrial city of Aethel-Meridian, nineteen-year-old courier Leonard 'Leo' Vale has learned that survival depends on one simple rule: never stop moving. Working midnight shifts for the Gilded Spoke Courier Guild, Leo races through dangerous streets on his extraordinary brass-framed bicycle, The Zephyr. But one night, an impossible delivery arrives.A mysterious silver container appears inside the emergency dispatch chute, bearing the extinct Royal Seal of the Sovereign Ravenscroft Line. Its destination is the Spire of the Zenith Line, a tower that does not exist on any official city map. The instructions are absolute: the package must reach its destination before the first ray of dawn. When Leo touches the container, an ancient Aetheric Vanguard Lock binds itself to his life-force. The delivery is no longer simply a job. If the connection is broken or the package is not delivered in time, the consequences could destroy Leo and everything around him. With the city’s hidden forces already moving against him, he has no choice but to ride into the midnight streets. As Leo races through flooded alleys, aqueducts, elevated railways, and forgotten districts, he discovers that the silver container carries a secret tied to the lost royal bloodline and the true source of Aethel-Meridian’s power. The city’s energy grid is not naturally dying. It has been deliberately restricted, while the ruling Council of Overseers has maintained control through rationing and hidden siphon technology. At the heart of the mystery is Victoria Ravenscroft, the surviving heir of the Sovereign Architect line. Her appearance transforms Leo’s impossible delivery into a journey that could change the entire city. Together, they uncover the forgotten purpose of the Zenith Spire: a living kinetic system designed to circulate energy throughout Aethel-Meridian rather than imprison it behind the walls of the powerful.Pursued by the Shadow-Dredge Syndicate and the forces of the Council, Leo must rely on speed, instinct, mechanical ingenuity, and the unexpected allies who believe the city deserves a future beyond artificial scarcity. His journey becomes more than a race against dawn. It becomes a struggle to reconnect a broken city with the movement, energy, and freedom that once sustained it.Blending steampunk fantasy, high-speed adventure, magical technology, royal secrets, and an atmospheric industrial setting, Midnight Delivery to the Royal Tower is a thrilling story about identity, legacy, momentum, and the courage to keep moving when an entire world is trying to make you stop.
