If you are an African or Hispanic American with school age children, then I strongly urge you to join the national effort to persuade New York City’s Mayor, Michael R. Bloomberg (Mayor Mike) to enter the 2008 Presidential election. Why do I say this? In less than four years Mayor Mike, along with Chancellor Joel Klein, has dramatically changed the education culture of minorities for the better. Before Mayor Mike, the academic expectation (education culture) for minorities was low performance and failure throughout their school years. He’s done it here on New York City, and if he runs for President and wins, he’ll do the same in your community. Join the 'Draft Mike' campaign in your city, and if none is there, Start one! Join the national effort to change the education culture for ALL children. Look closely at the man I’ve written about and take action. It’s one important way we can work together to insure a brighter future for our children.
