Growing maize in humid equatorial environments has its own particularities, linked to very specific climatic conditions. This manual has therefore been written in response to requests from people interested in this crop, but lacking sufficient knowledge of its technical itinerary. This technical note on maize production is based on our experience gained at the Société Industrielle d’Agriculture et d’Elevage de Boumango (SIAEB), on village plantations and elsewhere. Its essential aim is to provide those wishing to invest in this crop with the information they need to establish and manage it.
