Ce travail vise à présenter les résultats positifs d’une méthode alternative de lutte contre les maladies agricoles. L’objectif était d’évaluer l’efficacité des huiles essentielles dans la lutte contre les champignons pathogènes du maïs. L’huile essentielle de noni est prometteuse. La recherche de ces méthodes alternatives, qui minimisent l’impact sur l’environnement lorsqu’elles sont remplacées par des méthodes conventionnelles, est devenue essentielle pour le bien et la santé de tous les êtres vivants impliqués directement ou indirectement dans la plantation et la consommation de cultures agricoles. À cela s’ajoute un autre facteur, à savoir le rapport coût-bénéfice pour les petits, moyens et grands producteurs.
