Barbarella D´Acevedo (La Habana, Cuba, 1985). Escritora. Profesora de arte y escritura creativa, y editora. Teatróloga, graduada del ISA y del Centro de Formación Literaria Onelio Jorge Cardoso. Ha obtenido múltiples galardones, entre ellos: Hermanos Loynaz (2021), XIX Certamen de Poesía Paco Mollá 2020 (España), Bustos Domecq (2020), y Beca de creación El reino de este mundo, por el disco de poesía Discurso de Eva (PM records). Su obra ha sido editada asimismo en diversas antologías a lo largo del mundo.  La Fundación Juan Ramón Jiménez se crea con el objetivo de honrar el legado del poeta español y Premio Nobel de Literatura, que vivió en nuestra ciudad; y aquí, en el dolor y la soledad del exilio, nació uno de los libros de poesía más hermosos: Romances de Coral Gables.El Premio Internacional de Poesía Juan Ramón Jiménez de Coral Gables ­tiene como objetivo celebrar la creación poética y la difusión de voces destacadas de la poesía hispánica contemporánea.
