Les difficultés d’apprentissage dans l’enseignement de la biologie dues à l’abstraction du sujet, à de nombreux concepts difficiles à comprendre et à un manque de lien avec la réalité vécue par la société sont des problèmes fréquents rencontrés en classe. Afin d’améliorer ce modèle d’enseignement actuel, des leçons différenciées et l’utilisation de nouvelles ressources pédagogiques ont été incorporées dans l’enseignement quotidien des sciences dans les écoles. Les leçons pratiques, les leçons sur le terrain, les leçons de démonstration et les ressources audiovisuelles sont autant de stratégies qui peuvent contribuer au processus d’enseignement et d’apprentissage en facilitant la compréhension des concepts impliqués dans l’enseignement des domaines les plus divers des sciences biologiques. Ce livre présente une évaluation de l’apprentissage réel des étudiants lorsqu’ils combinent des cours théoriques avec l’utilisation de leçons pratiques dans l’enseignement de la biotechnologie aux élèves de troisième année de l’enseignement secondaire. Il examine également l’importance des leçons pratiques selon l’opinion des étudiants sur la façon dont elles les aident à apprendre.
