Der Luftverkehr ist einer der am schnellsten wachsenden Sektoren weltweit und für einen erheblichen Teil der globalen Emissionen verantwortlich. Um die Pariser Klimaziele zu erreichen, ist es notwendig, die Emissionen in diesem Sektor deutlich zu reduzieren. Österreich hat sich ein ehrgeiziges Ziel gesetzt und will bis 2040 emissionsneutral werden. Ziel dieser Studie ist es, die Einflussfaktoren auf den Luftfahrtsektor in Österreich zu analysieren und die angebotsseitigen Strategien und Maßnahmen zu identifizieren, die zur Emissionsreduktion eingesetzt werden können. Zu diesem Zweck wurden halbstrukturierte Interviews mit einer Reihe von Akteuren auf der Angebotsseite geführt. Als analytischer Ansatz wurde eine Synthese aus induktiver und deduktiver qualitativer Inhaltsanalyse verwendet.
