Karen Kay Dunn and her family were living a somewhat predictable life. They would plan future events with confidence and those events would usually occur as planned. Two words shook the very foundation of this family. Those words were “invasive melanoma.” With the diagnosis of a cancer that is often referred to as, “the deadly skin cancer,” nothing could be planned with confidence that it would take place as scheduled in the future. In fact, no future was assured for Karen. Karen and her family were experiencing a dramatic life change. They now found themselves adjusting to living with uncertainty, because they no longer knew what their future would look like. There are so many life situations that result in people needing to adjust themselves to living with uncertainty. Examples of these are coping with any significant loss, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, cancer, accidents with permanent injuries, death, alienation from loved ones, financial ruin, plus many other traumatic events. Living with uncertainty and still finding ways to enjoy life is an attainable goal! This book will familiarize you with some useful tools to bring peace and joy back despite enduring uninvited life circumstances. In this book, the reader is encouraged to overcome the devastating effects of a very painful life event by discovering a plan to accomplish that. It is helpful to both the person passing through the life crisis as well as family members and friends who are helping others. As a mental health therapist, Karen has dedicated her life to helping people successfully walk through traumatic life events. She carefully presents a lifeline to readers. Her professional accomplishments have earned her the honor of being listed in: Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare Who’s Who Among Human Services Professionals Who’s Who in the South and Southwest Who’s Who in America Who’s Who in the World Karen maintains an encouraging blog on her website,

Reconsideration by Richard Bauckham has suggested that the author was a Jerusalem disciple who housed the ''Last Supper.'' This book explores the possibility that he was present...

  • Through the years with prince charming
    Paul du Quenoy
The past decade has overflowed in a raging stream of contradictions. Old certainties have yielded to relentless insecurity over a time when much of the human experience got immeasurably better even as many things only ever seemed to get worse. As Paul du Quenoy’s globetrotting criticism reveals, the arts were in a ferment that matched profound and yet totally unpredicted social...
