Negli ultimi tempi l’intelligenza emotiva (IE) è apparsa come un costrutto chiave nell’esplorazione emotiva contemporanea, emergendo come uno degli aspetti dell’intelletto più ampiamente discussi nella letteratura esistente. Lo studio dell’IE è fiorito in parte a causa della crescente importanza individuale dell’intelletto e dei sentimenti per gli studenti nel mondo attuale. È stato anche sostenuto che l’EI predice criteri educativi e professionali vitali, oltre a quelli previsti dalla comune capacità razionale. Gli studenti con un’elevata associazione al concerto dell’ambiente di apprendimento hanno una conoscenza notevolmente superiore del flusso rispetto a quelli con un minore coinvolgimento nelle azioni dell’ambiente di apprendimento. La ricerca ha rivelato che gli istruttori hanno l’impatto più difficile e più diretto sulle prestazioni emotive degli studenti nell’ambiente educativo.
