Questa ricerca si propone di indagare le attività didattiche degli insegnanti di scuola primaria che lavorano nei laboratori artistici delle scuole comunali a tempo prolungato della città di Londrina, Paraná. L’oggetto di studio è stato l’insegnante e la sua azione didattica. Il metodo utilizzato è stato quello dialettico. Si tratta di uno studio qualitativo e quantitativo in cui è stato somministrato a questi insegnanti un questionario aperto e chiuso. La ricerca ha indagato se ci sono stati cambiamenti nelle attività didattiche di questi insegnanti di laboratori artistici, quali sono stati i cambiamenti, gli aspetti positivi e quelli negativi, e ha cercato di capire se il Programma di formazione continua e altre azioni - come la formazione continua e lo scambio di esperienze - hanno contribuito a migliorare le attività didattiche di questi insegnanti.La metodologia utilizzata nei corsi di formazione continua per questi insegnanti è stata la Proposta triangolare di Ana Mae Barbosa (1991), che articola tre campi concettuali dell’arte: il fare artistico, l’apprezzamento estetico e la contestualizzazione storica.
