Ziel dieser Studie ist es, die Lehrtätigkeit von Grundschullehrern zu untersuchen, die in Kunstwerkstätten an städtischen Ganztagsschulen in der Stadt Londrina, Paraná, arbeiten. Untersuchungsgegenstand waren die Lehrer und ihre Lehrtätigkeit. Die verwendete Methode war dialektisch. Es handelt sich um eine qualitative und quantitative Studie, bei der den Lehrern ein offener und ein geschlossener Fragebogen ausgehändigt wurde. Untersucht wurde, ob sich die Lehrtätigkeit dieser Kunstwerkstätten-Lehrer verändert hat, worin die Veränderungen bestanden, welche positiven und negativen Aspekte es gab, und ob das Programm „Mehr Bildung' und andere Maßnahmen - wie Fortbildung und Erfahrungsaustausch - zur Verbesserung der Lehrtätigkeit dieser Lehrer beigetragen haben. Die in den Fortbildungskursen für diese Lehrer angewandte Methodik war der Dreiecksvorschlag von Ana Mae Barbosa (1991), der drei konzeptionelle Bereiche der Kunst umfasst: künstlerisches Schaffen, ästhetische Wertschätzung und historische Kontextualisierung.
