Aujourd’hui, les entreprises tentent de mettre en place certaines applications afin de survivre face à la concurrence mondiale croissante et aux changements rapides. L’une de ces applications est l’externalisation de fonctions extérieures à l’activité principale. L’objectif de cette recherche est d’identifier les raisons de l’externalisation dans les entreprises de tourisme de santé et les activités qui y ont recours. Les entreprises de tourisme de santé sont des institutions médicales qui fournissent des services médicaux (hôpitaux, centres médicaux, centres de santé, etc.) et des entreprises qui fournissent des services de santé complémentaires (thermalisme, spa et bien-être, thalasso et maisons de soins pour personnes âgées). Les entreprises ont besoin de l’externalisation pour réduire leurs coûts, la concurrence, la qualité du service, la satisfaction et réduire les différents risques. En outre, l’externalisation offre des avantages tels que la flexibilité dans les opérations de tourisme de santé, la concentration sur les compétences de base et la réussite de l’entreprise.
