Il presente libro descrive l’evoluzione del vecchio progetto di lettura - il progetto di lettura di 10 minuti - fino al nuovo progetto di lettura - Lesen10. Mentre il vecchio progetto di lettura era incentrato sui testi di narrativa, il nuovo progetto di lettura ha subito una diversificazione più ampia sotto forma di testi di narrativa e testi specialistici. Il corpo docente della PNMS ha ritenuto necessaria una riforma, vista la costante presenza di testi specialistici nelle materie scolastiche. I testi devono essere compresi per poter essere elaborati in modo adeguato. Ad esempio, è necessario rispondere a domande, porre domande sul testo, mettere i paragrafi nell’ordine corretto, ecc. Ciò richiede però competenze che devono essere apprese e che non sono disponibili fin dall’inizio. Con l’aiuto di tecniche e strategie di lettura, agli studenti sono stati e continuano ad essere forniti strumenti per analizzare e scomporre i testi e verificarne la conformità ai requisiti specifici.
