Dans cet ouvrage, issu d’un mémoire de Master développé à l’Université Fédérale de Viçosa (2013), nous analysons la production de consensus sur l’enseignement supérieur dans la première décennie des années 2000, en considérant les orientations de la Banque mondiale et leur impact sur les politiques publiques brésiliennes. Deux documents publiés par la Banque mondiale au cours de la première et du début de la deuxième décennie des années 2000 ont été analysés : Building Knowledge Societies : New Paths for Tertiary Education (2003) et Learning for All : Investing in People’s Knowledge and Skills to Promote Development (2011). Considérant le biais d’analyse basé sur la matérialisation de ces tendances internationales, un programme lancé en 2011 a également fait partie de notre corpus d’analyse : Science sans frontières. En ce sens, la matérialisation des orientations internationales agit dans le tissage d’un consensus sur l’enseignement supérieur dans notre société.
