Ce livre aborde le thème de la planification scolaire dans le processus d’enseignement et d’apprentissage. L’étude a été menée à l’école municipale 'Simone Macieira' (ville de Santa Inês), où il a été recherché l’enquête des principaux problèmes qui empêchent la réalisation d’une planification plus efficace et la consolidation des cibles et des objectifs visés, ainsi il a été possible d’observer certaines préoccupations des enseignants qui travaillent avec la série initiale des écoles primaires, la vue négative rapportée par la plupart des enseignants dans cette partie du processus éducatif ne peut pas être considérée comme une situation irréversible. Il est entendu qu’une planification dirigée par une action pédagogique critique et transformatrice peut permettre à l’enseignant d’avoir plus de sécurité pour faire face aux complications qui peuvent survenir quotidiennement dans la 'cour d’école'. Dans ce sens, la 'bonne planification' ainsi que son résultat, seront traduits par l’action pédagogique dirigée de manière à intégrer la réalité de l’apprenant, en cherchant à la transformer, ce qui permet d’améliorer les actions éducatives.
