Cette étude s’est concentrée sur la résilience des chefs d’établissement dans le district de Victoria, Laguna, Philippines, au milieu de la pandémie. Dix-sept directeurs d’écoles primaires et secondaires ont participé à cette étude. Il s’est avéré que les chefs d’établissement ont une résilience très élevée en termes de promotion de la cohésion communautaire, de communication soutenue, d’attention portée à la santé mentale et psychosociale, et d’accueil du feedback. Les chefs d’établissement favorisent la cohésion communautaire en faisant participer les familles et les parties prenantes à tous les programmes scolaires. Les écoles ont fourni des occasions non structurées de créer des liens en petits groupes. Pour maintenir la communication entre les parties prenantes internes et externes de la communauté scolaire, le chef d’établissement a communiqué de manière claire et directe en utilisant différentes plateformes. Pour lutter contre l’épidémie, les chefs d’établissement ont organisé des orientations, des réunions et des webinaires pour l’ensemble de la communauté. L’accueil des commentaires était l’une des principales priorités des chefs d’établissement afin de recevoir une réponse claire de la part de la communauté. Des recommandations ont été formulées à l’intention des chefs d’établissement pour qu’ils maintiennent leur résilience à tout prix.
