Through images, Bible verses, and commentary, this collection helps us to realize that all of nature has been created through God?s grace and love; indeed, His love for us is evident everywhere. The farmer knowingly tills the soil, plants, and cares for and expects the harvest that definitely comes. God?s hand is in all of this. With His special care, the plants thrive?and so do we. In well-measured and thoughtful ways, His plans for us are carried out. As the soil surrenders to the hoe, rain, sunshine, and everything that is needed for it to flourish, we must surrender to Him, the Master Gardener. As we would go into the ocean from a beach, we enter with Him, deeper and deeper, to get the other side where He is leading us, to the perfect place. He insures that we arrive there safely; take Him at His word and step out. In Journeys with Jesus, Hutchings takes us on an inspiring, spiritual journey with God and all that he has created for us.
