In hoc libro, Vives sapientiam et virtutem explicat, et viam ad felicitatem et perfectionem indicat. Liber est diviso in tres partes, quarum prima de philosophia est, secunda de religione, et tertia de vita humana. In prima parte, Vives de philosophia naturali et moralis loquitur, et de ratione et usu earum. In secunda parte, auctor de religione et fide disputat, et de Christi doctrina et sacramentis agit. In tertia parte, Vives de vita humana, et de virtutibus et vitiis loquitur, et de ratione vitae bene instituendae.
