Doença do mosaico amarelo do feijão-mungo causada por uma variante do MYMV-Vig: IN: NVS: Mg: 2012 no sul de Gujarat. Rhizobium sp. é uma bactéria simbiótica fixadora de nitrogénio que permanece associada às leguminosas. O presente trabalho de investigação teve como objetivo encontrar a interação entre Rhizobium sp. e MYMV para explorar o mecanismo de redução da doença e melhorar o rendimento e a produtividade. Foram recolhidas dez amostras diferentes para isolar a estirpe de Rhizobium do feijão-mungo. Através do isolamento e da caracterização bioquímica inicial, três isolados (NAURh-1, NAURh-2 e NAURh-7) dos dez isolados foram suspeitos de serem Rhizobium sp.
