Le prestazioni degli insetticidi botanici nel controllo del coleottero fogliare (Alocypha bimaculata Jacoby) sulla resa della coltura del sesamo (Sesamum indicum L.) nelle condizioni pedoclimatiche del centro agronomico di Mapupulo. Nella campagna 2023/2024 è stato condotto un esperimento nei campi del Centro agronomico di Mapupulo (CIAM), che appartiene all’Istituto di ricerca agricola del Mozambico (IIAM). È stato utilizzato un Causalised Complete Block Design, composto da 4 blocchi e 5 trattamenti basati su Margosa, Ricino, Eucalipto, Controllo e Tabacco.In termini di efficienza degli insetticidi botanici, si è osservato che gli estratti di Tabacco hanno avuto il tasso più basso di attacchi di parassiti come l’erbivoro nelle loro parcelle, seguiti dagli estratti di Margosa, così che il controllo ha avuto il numero più alto di parassiti e di danni, nella variabile della resa gli estratti di Tabacco hanno ottenuto una media di 1501,0 kg/ha e gli estratti di Margosa hanno avuto una media inferiore a 992,5 kg/ha.
