L’enseignement primaire de neuf ans a été introduit par la loi n° 11 274 de 2006, qui a modifié des articles de la LDB et a donc exigé que les enfants de six ans s’inscrivent en première année d’enseignement primaire. Ce changement a créé des défis majeurs pour les écoles et les enseignants, ainsi que pour les enfants et les familles. Cet article traite des difficultés rencontrées par les enfants lorsqu’ils entrent à l’école primaire à l’âge de six ans. L’objectif est de comprendre les défis auxquels sont confrontés les enfants du point de vue des enseignants du système scolaire municipal de Joinville/SC. En outre, l’objectif est d’analyser le concept historique de l’enfance et sa prise en charge éducative au Brésil. Comprendre les étapes du développement de l’enfant de six ans, selon la psychologie du développement. Étudier les pratiques pédagogiques et l’espace scolaire pour les classes de première année. En outre, vérifier le processus de transition, selon les enseignants, à la fois dans l’éducation de la petite enfance et dans l’enseignement primaire.
