Lo studio è stato condotto in otto distretti coinvolti nel progetto. Sono stati selezionati in modo casuale 480 agricoltori che coltivano lentil e mungo per essere intervistati. La metà degli agricoltori intervistati (agricoltori dimostrativi) coltivava lenticchie e fagioli mungo sotto la supervisione diretta del progetto. Inoltre, sono stati selezionati casualmente 30 agricoltori che praticavano la coltivazione a staffetta di lenticchie nel distretto di Pabna per raccogliere dati su questa pratica. Gli agricoltori campionati comprendevano coltivatori di lenticchie e fagioli mungo in parti uguali. In questo studio è stato utilizzato principalmente il metodo di analisi tabulare con statistiche descrittive.
