It provides a history of IGSS methodolody and IGSS’s foundation in biochemical concepts. It covers methods for light microscopy, scanning and transmission electron microscopy, nonmicroscopical applications of IGSS, and the use of thin and semi-thin resin sections and thin cryosections. It addition, the book discusses the advantages of 1nm colloidal gold particles and nanogold and udecagold.
