La storia segue il giovane principe Tamino, che viene incaricato dalla Regina della Notte di salvare sua figlia Pamina dalle grinfie del malvagio Sarastro. Tamino viene aiutato dal suo amico Papageno, un uccellatore buffo e goffo. Durante il loro viaggio, incontrano una serie di personaggi stravaganti, tra cui tre dame della Regina della Notte e tre ragazzi che li guidano nella loro missione. Il Flauto Magico ����� famoso per la sua musica incantevole, tra cui la celebre aria della Regina della Notte ''Der H������lle Rache kocht in meinem Herzen'' e la dolce serenata di Papageno ''Ein M�����dchen oder Weibchen''.
