Im Schweinesektor des Departements für Tierwissenschaften der UFLA wurden zwei Versuche durchgeführt, um die Auswirkungen unterschiedlicher Gehalte an metabolisierbarer Energie (ME) und Rohprotein (CP) in Rationen, die nach dem Konzept des idealen Proteins und der Phytase für Ferkel von 15 bis 35 kg formuliert wurden, zu überprüfen. Bei Versuch I handelte es sich um einen Stoffwechselversuch zur Bewertung der Gesamtnährstoffverdaulichkeit und der Mineralstoffausscheidung in den Fäkalien und bei Versuch II um eine Bewertung der Leistung, der Blutparameter, der Körperzusammensetzung, der Organgewichte und der Knochenmineralisierung. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass es durch eine Veränderung der Rationen möglich ist, die Stickstoffausscheidung im Kot um 36 %, die Stickstoffausscheidung im Urin um 44 % und die Phosphorausscheidung im Kot um 31 % zu reduzieren, was dazu beiträgt, die durch Schweineabfälle verursachte Umweltbelastung zu verringern.
